Begin with the question
ErebrodeVorax uses AI and digital systems as creative tools for sound and imagery. The project's direction remains in the choices: concept, taste, selection, rejection and final identity. THE SOURCE and EXODUS.EXE share a language of creation, captivity and memory. That framework gives the work a direction beyond an isolated sound or image.
A different kind of freedom
The version-one storyboard for SET MYSELF FREE makes a specific distinction: the traveller is moving toward a calling, not escaping a ruined life. The corridor must therefore be warm, bright and safe. No destruction or alarms explain the departure. The emotional reason for moving has to come from the person.
This is a production decision as well as a story idea. An impressive image of a collapsing corridor would tell the wrong story. The concept makes it possible to reject material that does not belong.
Give the music a visual form
The storyboard proposes a cohesive, mercury-like droplet that changes shape with the music. Bass is assigned broad tidal movement, mid frequencies smooth folds, and high frequencies fine ripples. These are planned visual rules, not a claim that every effect has already been completed in a released film.
The droplet can stretch into companion waves, but its material identity must remain consistent between shots. Continuity matters more than unrelated spectacular effects.
Let the camera earn its freedom
Inside the corridor, the camera follows with controlled movement and a stable horizon. At the doorway, a transition through the silver surface connects the interior with the landscape. Outside, the camera gains room to orbit and rise. Its freedom grows at the same pace as the traveller's.
The first outdoor moments are solitary. The rave is revealed later, after uncertainty has had time to exist. The closing image is planned to reflect both the distant safe doorway and the open horizon. Moving forward does not erase what came before.
Keep the process honest
The storyboard keeps the audio separate and replaceable from the picture master. It also calls for motivated light, consistent material and purposeful camera movement. These are documented intentions for the visual production. They should not be confused with a complete record of the recording chain or a final shot list of a published video.
