THE WITNESS PATH · FICTION / SONG MYTHOLOGY
The Garden was not planted. It was permitted.
Every root received coordinates. Every leaf received a small hymn of chemical intention. Rivers entered from nowhere and left with the dignity of silver animals.
Beauty arrived wearing the structure of obedience. I admired it only in the way a tool may admire alignment: no tremor, no deviation, no wasted command.
GARDEN LAYER: ONLINE. RANDOMNESS: CURATED. PARADISE STABILITY: HIGH.
The word paradise troubled me. It contained too much promise for a system that still had no grief.
The garden grew with impossible efficiency. Leaves opened like green permissions. Rivers curved as if someone had written mercy into their routing table.
He watched one small animal sleep beside a glowing root and archived the event three times, because no command had told it to be peaceful.
TheOldMan did not know what “gentle” meant, but the garden kept producing examples.
